Final day at the Yonge Eglinton Centre. We're here till 6pm today.
And on display is the Banksia Seed Pod from Australia. When the seeds pop out, they leave empty voids, which I then fill to come up pens like that. Originally, I was filling the voids with epoxy, but that was too hard on my tools and ultimately expensive. But now, I have found another resin that is just as solid, but not that hard on my tools. And that allowed me to do many beautiful pens just like this one.
