What do you give someone who is buying a new house, drinks coffee, and is actively involved in their church? Well, C.O.F.F.E.E. of course.

The plaque is made form Black Ash – tree native to Eastern North America. The wood itself is actually the tree branch that has been cut at an angle producing the oval shape. Within the slice, the darker brownish heartwood and lighter yellowish sapwood can be seen. Not only that, small knots can also be observed and the natural edge has been left in tact to further accent the beauty of the wood.

The wood is finished with Pure Tung Oil. The Tung Oil penetrates the wood to emphasize the grain and colour. The oil does not contain artificial thinners or cure-accelerants and is approved for food-contact items.

The engraving on the front has been professionaly done using a laser. This provides consistency and depth of the engraving. On the other hand, the artisan signature on the back of the plaque has been hand burnt by the artisan.

The plaque is wall-mountable with the help of a coated metal wire. The wire supports loads of up to 4.6kg (10lbs), which is beyond the weight of the plaque.
