Finishing things prior to the Fire and Ice Festival this weekend

I'm on fire making things for the fire and ice festival in 2 days. The easier way to apply the oil finish is to dip the piece into the little oil bath. That way the oil gets applied to all sides instantaneously.  

This time, the pen cases were slightly narrower so I couldn't use the Tupperware to drain the excess oil. Instead, I found an old metal grate and it worked like a charm. 

And just a little tease - I'm branching with a new pen case design. It's being prototyped right now and hopefully it will be ready for my spring shows. Exciting new addition!!
