And this image was sent to me by a customer who got a pen and pencil set made from the Claro walnut burl. The Claro walnut is native to California and the wood has myriads of brown shades on them, The same customer later on requested the double seater pen case from Cherry to store the set. 

What a beauty!!!! And I definitely enjoy customizing items that best fits your need. The double seater pen case was specifically designed to fit the pen, but the design can definitely be altered to accommodate thicker ones.
