Hand-Crafted from North American Walnut bark – this is truly a one of a kind creation. The bark was thick enough to ensure full pen, but due to it's softness, the bark has been stabilized with Cactus Juice. Despite the stabilization, certain areas of the bark remained soft and that resulted in a unique oval-ish shape to the pen. A truely unique piece of art that you can hold in your hands. Due to the limited availability of the bark, these pens are exceptionaly rare.

The pen's wood body has a barrel shape and is finished with Pure Tung Oil and Carnauba-based Wax. The Tung Oil penetrates the wood to emphasize the grain and colour. The oil does not contain artificial thinners or cure-accelerants and is approved for food-contact items. The Carnauba-based wax forms a light 'skin' finish which serves as an additional layer of protection. The combination of the two finishes emphasize the beauty of the wood while preserving its natural feel.

The hardware has a brass finish and is made to resemble a gun cartridge. The clip is also made to resemble a rifle.

The pen is available as a ballpoint and takes on a standard Parker style refill. To access the refill, simply unscrew the tip. Make sure you retain and install the spring on the new refill.
