A pen and a stylus combined into one beautiful pen. Simply twist and write away!

Crafted from a single piece of Buckeye Burl, tree native to Eastern United States, this pen showcases the characteristics for the wood - slightly porous, swirly grained, and plenty of natural dents and imperfections. This is another of nature's creations that must be admired as it is presented.

The wood has a barrel shape and is finished with Pure Tung Oil and Carnauba-based Wax. The Tung Oil penetrates the wood to emphasize the grain and colour. The oil does not contain artificial thinners or cure-accelerants and is approved for food-contact items. The Carnauba-based wax forms a light 'skin' finish which serves as an additional layer of protection. The combination of the two finishes emphasize the beauty of the wood while preserving its natural feel.

The hardware has chrome finish with gold accents and is only available as a ballpoint with a stylus tip at the end. It takes on a standard Parker style refill; to access the refill, simply unscrew the two halves. Make sure you retain and install the spring on the new refill.

Customization for this stylus is not available due to the highly porous nature of the wood.

A pen that may never leave your hand: you'll either write, use it on your touch screen device, or show it off to everyone around you. Complimentary velvet pouch is included with the purchase; the pen holder in the images is sold separately.

Note: the dimensions are shown as length of closed pen by height of pen at clip by largest diameter of the wooden body.
