A rollerball or fountain pen to go with you everywhere you want. Pull the cap and write away!

Crafted from a single piece of Desert Ironwood – tree native to Southwestern United States and Northwestern Mexico, this pen showcases the absolute uniqueness of the wood. The heartwood colour ranges from orangish yello to darker red/brown with darker violet to black streaks. The wood has fine texture and natural lustre.

The pen's wood body is turned to a barrel shape and finished with Pure Tung Oil and Carnauba-based Wax. The Tung Oil penetrates the wood to emphasize the grain and colour. The oil does not contain artificial thinners or cure-accelerants and is approved for food-contact items. The Carnauba-based wax forms a light 'skin' finish which serves as an additional layer of protection. The combination of the two finishes emphasize the beauty of the wood while preserving its natural feel.

The hardware is finished in chrome. You can place the cap at the back to give you extra length and balance; the rare earth magnet keeps the cap snugly attached.

The rollerball pen comes with a fine-tipped (0.6mm) ceramic roller refill from Schmidt. The rollerball tip ensures smooth and even lines to your hand-writing.

The fountain pen comes with an Iridium Point medium nib manufactured in Germany and takes an ink well or a prefilled cartridge. The pen is uninked and will ship with the ink well attachment only. The prefilled cartridges are susceptible to damage and therefore are not shipped to protect your purchase.

To access the refill or the ink, simply unscrew the tip from the middle. In case of the rollerball pen, make sure you don't lose the spring that goes at the end of the refill.
